HOW DO I GET TO CLIFTON BAPTIST CHURCH?
The church is located at 27312 Highway 25, Franklinton, LA which is 6 miles from the Washington Parish Fairgrounds. Most people park on the north side of the church in the concrete parking lot that’s visible from the road. If there is inclement weather and you need a covered drop off, we offer that on the south side of the church. There are several handicap spaces next to the building in the parking lot on the north side if that’s a need for you or somebody with you. Find online directions here.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Plan to arrive approximately 10 minutes before worship service, Sunday school, Wednesday Bible study or any other event. This will give you time to find out where you need to go and settle in before things get started. Families bringing children should arrive early so we can help them get to their proper location and begin making friends!

WHAT DO YOU OFFER FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL?
We have Bible Study options for all ages during our Sunday School hour beginning at 9:30 a.m.  We have classes available for Toddlers, Preschoolers, 1st-6th grade, Youth (7th-12th grades), College Age, Young Adults, Men, Ladies, Senior Adults as well as a nursery for little ones 2 and under.

WHAT IS A TYPICAL SERVICE LIKE?
Our services are designed to help you connect with God through music and solid, Scripture-based teaching. Each Sunday, Pastor Tony Hicks leads us into God’s word, taking us verse by verse through Scripture.  His expository preaching style helps us to learn what the Bible says in a logical and consistent manner. Sunday services begin at 10:30 a.m. and last approximately one hour.

WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU HAVE?
Worship leader Randy Thomas leads the congregation while Music Director Anna Dell Creel puts together music each week with songs that solidly represent Scripture. We mainly sing traditional hymns, but it’s not unusual for us to also include modern worship songs. Clifton Baptist Church has many talented members who share their talents through solos, ensembles and other creative ways. In addition to music, we’ve worshiped through sign language, drama and stick performances. We strive to utilize music that is relevant to our church family and allows us to understand God better.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Children of all ages are welcome to stay with their parents during our worship service. However, we also have nursery care where children from birth to 2 years old will be loved and taken care of if you would rather choose that option.
